Parking in Andalusian old towns

Never drive into a casco antiguo. Park at the edge in a paid lot and walk in.

Andalusian historic centers were built for donkeys. Renting a car doesn't mean you should drive everywhere. Almost every big city (Málaga, Granada, Sevilla, Córdoba) has a low-emission zone (ZBE). White villages have lanes too narrow for a hatchback — and tow trucks are quick. The rule: find the village/city's edge-of-town paid parking on Google Maps before you arrive, walk the rest. SBA in Málaga, Parking Plaza de Armas in Sevilla, San Agustín in Granada, Vial del Norte in Córdoba — all 24h, all safer than kerb.
